The inflator I was expecting

Don't bother with cheaper inflators, this is good for AC and DC connections.
W\It's compact, look like the built is good, but the platic hose connection looks fragile.
I like the auto shut-off feature, I have seen it only in few inflators. |

| We got the Inflator for use with our F350 Super Duty Pickup. It has exceeded our expectations, by far. Others have mentioned the short Power and Inflator leads, but this has not posed a problem for us. We are more than pleased with this purchase. |
This little pump suits my suburban needs perfectly

| It pumps up car & bike tires, pool toys and sports balls with ease. I really like the fact it has two power cords. One cord for plugging in a 110 outlet and another for the car cigarette lighter. The auto PSI shutoff gauge is also very nice when dealing with the car tires. For the sports equipment and bike tires I just turn it to the max and let it send air until the afore mentioned item feels full. All in all, a great, well designed, pump. |
Works well so far

| I've used this several times, the AC cord is too short. Other than that, ti works well, I love the auto cut off feature, we ride our bikes several times per week, it is nice to set the tire pressure and know it is ok when the inflator turns off. |
Great for High PSI Van tires too!

This automatic air pump had three jobs to make me happy: First, it had to inflate my wife's toyota's tires (32 psi). This tool makes it flawless, fast and easy. Also, it needed to inflate our mountain bike tires (50 psi). This device makes it outrageously easy and fast. Finally, it needed to fill the tires to both my vans (80 psi). This apparatus does the trick nicely. For all applications I need it for, the auto turn off makes the chore mindless and accurate. While it is fast for car and bicycle tires, it is a little more time consuming for my van tires which are big. Hence, the auto turn off comes to the rescue again. I just let it do its thing while I do my own thing. Just so you get an idea; bikes that are about 10-20 lbs low it takes about a minute per tire; cars that are 5-10 pounds low, I figure it takes about 2-3 minutes per tire and for van tires that are about 10-20 lbs too low it takes easily 5 minutes per tire and often more than that. Still, it does it, and this little dance I do with the air station sure beats going to the gas station, hoping the pump with the faulty built in gauge is working and taped up properly and sweating to beat the all too short timer that all too often cuts me off either a few pounds before I am finished or a whole tire too soon...phooey!
This air station is a little loud, so make sure you don't use it too late at night or too early in the morning. It hums along and soon one gets used to the noise.
Hope that helps,
Michael |
